Florida Joker Gives 'Final Warning' to Rockstar Games Over Grand Theft Auto 6!!!⚠️😈🎮
The "Florida Joker," Lawrence Sullivan, has taken offense with a character in Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) who seems to be a lot like him.
He saw similarities between his look and a criminal character with tattoos who was placed in a caravan in the game that was modeled after Florida. Sullivan has been pressuring Rockstar Games to pay him for the alleged unauthorized use of his likeness, claiming that it was stolen.
Even though the GTA 6 character's tattoos and his real ones differed, Sullivan persisted in arguing his point, even going so far as to color his hair grandiloquently to resemble the character. On social media, he has been vocal about his demands, claiming that Rockstar owes him plutocrat and threatening to sue if his requests are not fulfilled.
His most recent action is posting a "final warning" on TikTok, saying that he has spoken with Rockstar through his lawyers and requesting an answer by January 11th, his birthday. Sullivan is requesting $5 million in order to keep the game inventors out of court.
Nevertheless, accusations of Rockstar exploiting their likeness without permission have been made before. In 2018, actress Lindsay Lohan abandoned her petition despite having filed a similar complaint against Grand Theft bus 5 (GTA 5).
Sullivan makes claims and draws similarities, but the evidence doesn't conclusively back up his argument. The GTA 6 persona has different facial marks and tattoos than Sullivan. If Rockstar decides not to answer by January 11th, Sullivan's legal action may not have much weight because of the company's prior experience with similar legal disputes and the absence of strong evidence.
